Toft, Mulle og Line Jørgensen kommentarer

Det var en flok glade danske der snakkede med pressen i går, de unge rapporter fra EHF fik sig en snak med tre af danskerne , og det kom der følgende ud af:

Line Jørgensen

On the match:

”We knew that this would be a game, in which we would have to fight for every ball and throw ourselves after every ball, and that was exactly what we did.

“This was by far our best performance in the tournament so far.

“They played hard, but they could not stop us."

On the atmosphere in the arena:

“It was great, I think Hungarian fans are fantastic, and I was almost a bit sad, as they became a little silent when we got a clear lead midway in the second half.”

Sandra Toft

On the match:

“For once, we took the lead from the start and kept it."

“I think it as very solid and consistent performance on our part."

On the next match against Spain:

“We will probably have to play even better in that match, than we did tonight, but we will take that match when it comes.”

Kristina Kristiansen

On having to play 60 minutes due to Lotte Grigel's injury absence:

“It was great. I felt fine all the time, and I think we all made a great performance.”

On the Danes playing seven against six most of the match:

“We have agreed that if we got ahead, and if we could see that Hungarians did not run particularly fast, we would pull the goalkeeper and put in an extra field player. We succeeded very well with that tonight.”
